FLINT, Michigan—Emmanuel Baptist Church hosted a day of training in discipleship and church planting for 15 pastors Oct. 1. The training event was the second of five Church Solutions conferences scheduled this fall by EveryEthnē, an evangelism ministry of ABWE North America.
Clare Jewell and Thad Bergmeier taught principles of multiplying disciples, leaders, and churches. They also gave away a series of books on these subjects. Clare and Thad are both regional directors of EveryEthnē, with Clare also serving as director of Generate, the church planting and church revitalization ministry of Regular Baptist Ministries.
Host pastor John Scally says, “The Church Solutions Conference was such an amazing blessing because it really placed us pastors in conflict! What I mean by that is sometimes we need to be reminded of what’s truly important and then given the resources to accomplish that challenge. We were given that at a high level at this conference. I am grateful.”
“The greatest need in our churches is to make disciples who make disciples, develop leaders, and plant more churches,” Clare says. “That’s why Generate is partnering with EveryEthnē to host Church Solutions conferences.”
Upcoming conferences will take place Oct. 7 in Spring City, Pennsylvania; Oct. 13 in Centennial, Colorado; and Nov. 2 in Hope Mills, North Carolina.
